New travel rules in Israel, from January 1, for citizens of the Republic of Moldova
The State of Israel is amending, from January 1, 2025, the rules for entry into its territory for citizens of states with which it does not have a visa regime, including citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Thus, Moldovans who wish to visit the country in the new year for various purposes shall do so only after they get an electronic travel authorization – ETA-IL.
The authorization will function as a system of prior verification and approval of entry and stay on Israeli territory. Without this approval, citizens of states with a visa-free regime shall not enter Israel.
The ETA-IL authorization will cost 120 lei, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
