Students and graduates from the diaspora will have the opportunity to do internships in the ministries of the Republic of Moldova

Students and graduates from the diaspora will have the opportunity to do internships in the ministries of the Republic of Moldova and subordinate institutions. It is also proposed to create a Government-Diaspora council in addition to the executive, ministries and other central public authorities, which will include highly qualified specialists.

This was announced by the head of the Diaspora Relations Office, Nadejda Zubco, during the consultations on the Government's Action Plan, reports IPN. One such example is put into practice by the Ministry of Education and Research, which has selected a working group of people from the diaspora available to provide expertise and experience, and this council met several times last year.

We remind that according to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, the number of pupils and students studying in educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova is decreasing by 51 thousand compared to last year.

According to demographers, the decrease is generated by the reduction in the birth rate, the migration of the population and the establishment of families abroad.
