Moldova’s Stremous shines at Biathlon World Cup

Alina Stremous, representing Moldova, secured a commendable 15th place finish in the women’s 7.5km sprint at the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland.

She completed the race in 21 minutes and 26 seconds with a clean shooting performance.

Another Moldovan athlete, Aliona Makarov, finished the race in 23 minutes and 31 seconds, with two missed shots.

The stage was won by Czech biathlete Marketa Davidova, who clocked a time of 20 minutes and 39 seconds with a perfect shooting performance.
