The European Commission offers almost two million euros to the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine
A new financial agreement worth 1.8 million euros was signed by the European Commission. The money is intended to increase the direct support given to local public authorities in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, which are members of the "Mayors for Economic Growth" network.
70% of the funds will be allocated for local authorities in Ukraine, and 30% for those in the Republic of Moldova. The funds will be used to fund proposals under a call for local initiatives aimed at contributing to the revitalization and recovery of the local economy and war-affected communities in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. Local authorities interested in submitting proposals for funding under the call for local initiatives must be part of the "Mayors for Economic Growth" network.
