Winter storm warning: Sleet, freezing rain & strong winds
Over the next few days, overcast skies and freezing temperatures 32°F (0°C) will grip the northern part of Moldova.
Meteorologists predict isolated periods of sleet and freezing rain, especially in the northern regions, during nighttime and early morning hours.
Northwest winds will be light to moderate, with occasional gusts during the day.
On Wednesday, highs will reach 34°F to 43°F (1 to 6°C), and lows will drop to 28°F to 37°F (-2 to 3°C).
A significant cold snap is expected on Saturday night. Temperatures will plummet to 21°F (-6°C) in the south, 19°F (-7°C) in central areas, and 12°F (-11°C) in the north.
