EU backs Moldova's path to membership
The European Parliament firmly supports the Republic of Moldova's path towards the European Union (EU), stated President Maia Sandu after meeting with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
“Today we discussed the next steps we need to take to build a European Moldova where people live well, in safety, and with dignity. Our European partners stand with us and believe in Moldova, which gives us the strength to move forward,” President Sandu said in a post on her social media.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola also posted on X, stating, "Now we need to work even harder together for this shared future."
