European Youth Olympics Festival: The Republic of Moldova is represented by figure skater Maria Gribinic

More than 1,300 athletes from 47 European countries are participating in 12 winter sports events, included in the European Youth Olympics Festival, which takes place between January 21-30, in the Italian town of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The European Youth Olympics Festival in Italy is reserved for juniors aged between 14-18 years, and the Republic of Moldova is represented at this Olympic Festival by figure skater Maria Gribinic. The figure skating competitions, in which Maria Gribinic will also perform, started today and will last until Friday, January 27. Maria Gribinic, is 15 years old and currently lives with her family in Turin, Italy.
