Deadly crash in Edineț: Driver without license kills two
A serious car accident occurred on Sunday morning in the Edineț district, Moldova. A 19-year-old driver, operating a Mercedes without winter tires, veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a car carrying three passengers, driven by a 44-year-old man.

The impact resulted in the immediate deaths of the 44-year-old driver, a Drochia Police Inspectorate employee, and his 42-year-old wife.
Their 10-year-old daughter and a 62-year-old woman were critically injured and transported to the hospital.
The General Police Inspectorate reported the incident. The 19-year-old driver, who did not possess a driver's license, was detained for 72 hours.
