Denmark boosts Ukraine aid with $300m package
Denmark has announced a new $300 million military aid package for Ukraine. The funds will be used to provide air defense systems and maintain F-16 fighter jets, the BBC reported.
The Danish Ministry of Defense highlighted Ukraine's urgent need for protection from Russian missiles and drones. As a result, additional air defense assistance is being prioritized.
Moreover, the new package will fund joint deliveries of infantry fighting vehicles with Sweden.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Denmark has provided over $7.3 billion in aid to Kyiv.
Notably, Ukraine was once again hit by a wave of massive Russian missile attacks on the morning of Friday, December 20.
