The World Handball Championship’s semi finalists have been announced

The World Men's Handball Championship in Poland and Sweden continued on Wednesday with the matches in the quarter-final stage, and after the fiery duels, which ended close to midnight, the four teams qualified for the semi-finals of the World Championship. They are France, Sweden, Spain and Denmark.

The easiest qualification in the penultimate act of the World Cup was achieved last night by the Danish team, which crushed the Hungarian team, with a score of 40-23. In the penultimate act, the Danes will play for a place in the final on Sunday, January 29 against Spain.

The Iberians dramatically defeated the Norwegian team after overtime with a score of 35-34. Regulation time ended in a 25-25 tie, with Spain sending the game into overtime in the final period by tying the score with 10 seconds left. For the Spaniards, Daniel Dujshebaev, the middle child of the famous handball dynasty, shone again.

The second semi-final from the World Cup is France - Sweden. The handball players from Hexagon defeated the German team in the quarterfinals, with a score of 35-28, and Sweden overtook Egypt by four goals, score 26-22.
