The magic of winter holidays at the Organ Hall. 200 children accompanied by the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra sang Christmas carols
An impressive choir of 200 children accompanied by the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra brought the magic of winter holidays to the Organ Hall. On Christmas Eve, the audience listened to the most beautiful national and international carols.
The audience said that they experienced moments of revelation.
"We were impressed by everything we saw tonight. It was a special diversity."
"They remind us of childhood and bring us prosperity."
The 200 children performed together with the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra accompanied by conductor Andriano Marian. “I would sing carols all year round, because they show a certain magic, our kindness,” said the director of the Moldova National Youth Orchestra.
Andriano Marian inherited his love for carols from his mother, Elena, who initiated the “Carols, Carols” festival in 2010.
“Arrangements were made to the best carols, the most popular national and international carols, and a beautiful caroling ambiance was created between the orchestra and the choirs,” said Elena Marian.
Each of the choirs participating in the carol evening also performed separate programs.
“When I perform carols, I feel a state of magic, of enchantment.”
“Caroling means enjoying, getting better.”
A program of Bulgarian carols was performed by a group of amateur artists from Tvardița. Moreover, the carols performed by a band from Boșcana, Criuleni district, brought joy to the audience.
“We want to preserve something very valuable for the nation, namely the customs, carols, folk songs,” said the artistic director of “Străjerii Neamului”, Chiril Sterpu.
This is the 15th edition of the Christmas Eve carol concert.
