Moldovagaz submits to ANRE the plan for connecting the localities in the Security Zone to the gas networks on the right bank of the Nistru
The distribution system operators within the “Moldovagaz” group have submitted to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) proposals for amending the Investment Program for 2025 and the Network Development Plan. The initiative provides for the connection of several localities in the Security Zone and on the right bank of the Nistru to the natural gas distribution network.
According to “Moldovagaz”, the project targets the localities connected to the networks currently managed by SRL “Tiraspoltransgaz” and provides for the construction of about 63.9 km of high-pressure gas networks, as well as the construction of two underwater crossings of the Nistru.
The works are to be carried out in the villages of Fârlădeni, Hagimus, Copanca, Hîrbovăț, Pohrebea, Coșnita, Pîrîta, Doroțcaia, Molovata Nouă, Varnita, Cocieri, Vasilievca, Corjova and Roghi, where there are about 12 thousand natural gas consumers. The first stage includes design works, including geodesy and hydrology, and the final budget will be drawn up later.
We remind you that last week, the Commission for Emergencies decided that the localities of Varnita and Copanca should be connected to the electricity network on the right bank of the Nistru. Also, another 14 localities in the Security Zone should be connected to the networks managed by Moldovagaz.
