Energocom finds solutions to cover the electricity needs for January 14

SA Energocom, together with the transmission system operators from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, Transelectrica and Moldelectrica, identified solutions to fully cover the deficit of 484 MWh needed for today, January 14. According to the company, during the evening and night of yesterday, other unused capacities were identified at the Ukrainian border with the EU and transferred to the border between Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

Subsequently, Energocom in collaboration with its partners purchased from Romania the energy necessary to cover the consumption of the right bank of the Nistru. Consequently, for today, we do not have an energy deficit.

We remind you that Energocom announced yesterday, January 13, that the Republic of Moldova could call for emergency energy today between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
