Rîșcani: Five people were taken to hospital after a serious road accident

Five people, including a child, were taken to hospital after two cars collided head-on near the village of Corlăteni, Rîșcani district. According to the Police, the accident occurred on the evening of January 13.

According to preliminary data provided by the press officer of the Rîșcani district, Lilia Harea, a 46-year-old man lost control of the car due to the wet road, and the car he was driving skidded and went into the wrong lane and hit another vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man head-on.

In the first car, besides the driver, there was an 18-year-old woman, a 7-year-old child and a 19-year-old man. All people were transported to hospital for medical care.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
