Igor Grosu urged Turkish companies to take part in renewable resources projects in Moldova
"In 2023, Moldova will concentrate on the development of renewable resources and energy efficiency growth. Thus, we invited the Turkish side to take part in these projects. Turkey is among the European leading countries in renewable energy generation and we want to learn from their experiences," said Igor Grosu in Ankara.

The Moldovan head of the legislature agreed with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to strengthen Moldovan-Turkish cooperation in the energy sector, reads a press release from the legislature. In this context, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spînu, will take part in the Natural Gas Summit scheduled in Istanbul for February 14 and 15.
Igor Grosu also met with Mevlüt Çavușoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, with whom he discussed issues related to bilateral relations, prospects for cooperation in various fields and ways to reduce the impact of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine on the region.
The officials exchanged views on the Republic of Moldova's status as a candidate country for accession to the European Union, which is prompting the authorities to be even more determined in implementing reforms.
