Moldovan goods are increasingly in demand on the EU markets, Agriculture and Food Industry Minister informs
Moldovan products are becoming more and more in high demand on the EU market, while access to this market provides agricultural enterprises with significant opportunities to develop and grow, Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea says.
Speaking in Brussels with Deputy Director-General for Trade Leopoldo Rubinacci, the Minister stressed that Moldovan farmers are committed to becoming more competitive and delivering quality products. The officials also discussed the prospects for greater duty-free access to the EU market for agricultural products.
Last July, the European Union more than doubled for one year the quota of Moldovan agricultural products that can be exported duty-free to the EU market. These include plums, apples, grapes, grape juice, cherries, garlic and tomatoes.
