The Constitutional Court rejects ȘOR Party's petition on the state of emergency
The Constitutional Court has ruled inadmissible the application filed by the political party ȘOR requesting constitutional review of the Parliament's decision on the extension of the state of emergency. The complaint was submitted by the deputy of the ȘOR Party, Marina Tauber on 23 December 2022.

In her petition, Marina Tauber pointed out that the parliament did not justify the need to extend the state of emergency and did not specify exactly what urgent measures could be adopted by the Commission for Emergency Situations.
The state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Moldova has been prolonged a number of times since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
