We recall that the aviation tragedy occurred on Wednesday night. An aircraft operating a regional flight for American Airlines collided in mid-air with a military helicopter near Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington. On board the aircraft were 60 passengers and four crew members, while the helicopter had three military personnel on board. Both planes crashed into the Potomac River. Several bodies have reportedly been recovered from the water, but there is no official death toll yet.
