Parliament to start spring session on February 3
Parliament will convene for the spring session starting on February 3. The Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu, has signed a decree to this effect.
According to the document, MPs will convene in a plenary session at the proposal of Parliament’s Standing Bureau, after the agenda has been prepared.
Parliament’s Rules of Procedure state that the Legislature holds two regular sessions per year.
The spring session begins in February and must conclude by the end of July, while the autumn session starts in September and must conclude by the end of December.
Notably, on Thursday, January 30, MPs convened for an extraordinary session.
