Igor Grosu: We are currently subject to cyber attacks, which come from the same address
The Republic of Moldova is currently subject to cyber attacks and the same strategic state institutions are usually targeted, Igor Grosu said in an interview for Digi 24.
According to the official, authorities are continuing to strengthen cyber capability.
"Usually critical infrastructure, institutions, Parliament, false bomb alarms, Airport, Courts, schools, etc. are targeted. We've basically doubled the defense budget, the first time we've ever done that, and we'll continue to invest in our defense system. Our military will continue to participate in joint exercises with Romania and other partners. If you want to be part of a European or global defense system, you have to make a contribution", declared Igor Grosu.
He also reiterated that in 2023, the defense budget was doubled.
