Andrei Spînu: The objective is a 30% share of renewable in the next three years
In the next three years, at least 30 percent of the energy consumed by the Republic of Moldova must be produced from renewable sources, believes the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spînu.
The official declared during a program on TVR Moldova that actions must be taken now to ensure future generations with safe energy resources and to no longer depend on certain political wills harmful to our state. "When I came to the government, about 3.5% was produced, of what we consumed was from renewable resources, by the end of 2022, we have almost 6%. In one year, we practically doubled, and that happened through changes in legislation. We facilitated the procedure, we removed all kinds of schemes. In one year we practically managed to double, but the objective is that in the next three years we will reach 30% and we will see more wind installations, photovoltaic panels in the fields of the Republic of Moldova", said Andrei Spînu.
