Mark Rutte emphasizes NATO's commitment to Moldova's security
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte issued a statement after several aircraft crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, and fragments of drones were discovered in the south of the country.

He emphasized the need for joint efforts to counter destabilizing actions against Moldova.
“We all care about your beautiful country, and we are committed to ensuring your success in what you once referred to as a hybrid war. However, this is a campaign of destabilization and, at times, state-sponsored terrorism aimed at your country. This is exactly what we are addressing – working together, consulting each other, and ensuring we are aligned, which is crucial,” said Mark Rutte, responding to questions from Moldovan journalists about how NATO can protect Moldovan citizens from drones falling on their territory.
Last night, after a large-scale drone attack on the port of Reni in Ukraine, several aircraft crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova. The border police reported the presence of drones, and two of them crashed on Moldovan territory.
Today, new drone fragments were discovered in the outskirts of Taraclia, about 2 kilometers from the district hospital.
