Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu also sent a congratulatory message to the German political party CDU, highlighting that this victory represents a crucial success for Germany, Europe and the future of democracy in the world.
We recall that Friedrich Merz's conservative alliance won the parliamentary elections in Germany, and the far right recorded the highest score in its history. Merz announced on Sunday evening that he was refusing any negotiations for a coalition with the AfD.
