New Ambassador of Ukraine to Chisinau, Paun Rohovei, presented copies of credentials

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, Paun Rohovei, presented copies of the letters of accreditation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which were received by the State Secretary of the institution, Sergiu Mihov. During the discussions, the officials analyzed the status and prospects of bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, reiterating the importance of strengthening political-diplomatic dialogue and sectoral cooperation.

Also today, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi met with Ambassador Paun Rohov, wishing the Ukrainian diplomat success in fulfilling his mandate in Chișinău and assuring him of the full support of the Moldovan authorities.

Three years after the start of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Minister Popșoi sent a message of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people, reaffirming the Republic of Moldova’s firm commitment to peace, freedom and security, as well as support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
