Higher salaries for educators in vocational and technical education
Educators in vocational and technical education will receive higher monthly bonuses based on their teaching qualification level.
The government has approved a decision to implement this measure. The new regulations will also cover vocational instructors who receive a teaching qualification through certification. These changes will take effect retroactively from January 1.
"At present, two employees hold the highest teaching qualification, 28 hold the second level, and 17 have no teaching qualification. The salary bonus will serve as an incentive for staff," said Eugeniu Buzadjî, the high school director.
According to the Ministry of Education, nearly two million lei have been allocated in the state budget for these salary bonuses. Vocational and technical education is provided through 22 centers of excellence and 67 colleges, serving nearly 48,000 students.
