Serbia protests: Thousands demand change amid corruption scandal
Tens of thousands attended a protest organized by Serbian students under the slogan “We Deserve More,” according to Euronews.

People express frustration over the country’s inequality and corruption, as well as a government they see as populist and ineffective.
The student protests, triggered by the collapse of a railway station roof, have gained widespread support from the Serbian public. The November incident, which left 15 people dead, has been blamed by critics on government corruption, sparking widespread outrage.
Since then, near-daily protests have eroded President Aleksandar Vučić’s hold on power. He faces accusations of undermining democratic freedoms and enabling corruption during his time in office.
