A team of experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), headed by Alina Iancu, will arrive in the Republic of Moldova on Monday, March 10, and will remain there until March 14.

According to a statement from the mission, during the visit, the team will gather information on recent economic developments, assess the macroeconomic framework, and discuss with the authorities the policies being promoted, as well as the progress made in implementing the measures outlined in the IMF-supported program.

The most recent mission evaluation, conducted in December of the previous year, showed that our economy is recovering, with a 3% economic growth projected for 2025. Furthermore, a reduction in the budget deficit is anticipated.
