Photovoltaic panels in five Border Police sectors to cover full electricity consumption

Five sectors of the Border Police have had photovoltaic panels installed. They are in Tudora, Volintiri, Valea Mare, Stoianovca, Brînza. The total power of these panels is 144 KW, the Border Police reports.

Following the calculations made in the implementation project, the photovoltaic panels' power will cover the total electricity consumption in each sector, reports the source. The period with the highest yield of electricity production is during summer months.

The total value of the renewable energy systems was 3.8 million lei, financial sources allocated from the state budget.

In the next two years, such photovoltaic panels will be installed in 11 other sectors of the Border Police.

No Moldovan citizen is currently among the victims of the car attack that occurred on Friday evening at the Christmas Market in the German city of Magdeburg, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau. The ministry reports that the Moldovan embassy in Berlin is in constant communication with German authorities. As of now, the incident has resulted in at least four deaths and approximately 200 injuries. The identities of all the victims have not yet been disclosed, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
