Molovata ferry customs post temporarily closed due to strong winds

The "Molovata" ferry customs post has temporarily suspended operations due to strong winds affecting traffic on the Dniester River, as announced by the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova.

Authorities recommend that travelers use the internal customs post "Criuleni 18," located about 32 km away.

Operations at the crossing point will resume once weather conditions improve.

The other customs posts are operating normally, emphasizes the Customs Service.

The State Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow warning for strong winds on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 00:00 to 15:00. According to meteorologists, wind gusts will reach speeds of 15-20 m/s, mainly from the northwest. In other regions of the country, wind speeds may reach 12-14 m/s.
