Ambassador Lilian Darii summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry
A firm protest note was submitted to the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Moscow, Lilian Darii, regarding the incident at the Russian Embassy in Chisinau, reads a press release of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The institution considers the actions of the Moldovan police who reacted to the information about placing a bomb on the territory of the embassy as a “blocking of the activity of the diplomatic mission," during which “employees of the embassy and their family members were deprived of the opportunity to go out into the city”.
We remind you that at noon today a bomb alert was triggered at the Russian Embassy in Chisinau. Later, after the on-site verification procedure, the police determined that it was a fake bomb threat.
