Filip Kirkorov requests that the Supreme Court of Justice lift the entry prohibition into the Republic of Moldova

The General Inspectorate of Border Police's entry ban into the Republic of Moldova was challenged by Russian musician Filip Kirkorov in the Supreme Court of Justice. According to the court portal, the application was registered on March 19.
We would like to remind you that the Chisinau Court of Appeal first declared the ban to be unjustified in May 2024. The Chisinau Court of Appeal upheld the 2022 measure in November after the General Inspectorate of the Border Police appealed the ruling.
The artist was scheduled to perform in the Republic of Moldova, but the event was cancelled, and this was the reason for the ban. Additionally, Kirkorov's open endorsement of Russia's aggression against Ukraine sparked debate and is said to have influenced the Moldovan government's choice.
Similar prohibitions against Filip Kirkorov are in place in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Ukraine, among other states in the region.
