Pay health insurance premiums online by March 31 in Moldova
Moldovan citizens who have individual health insurance can pay their mandatory health insurance premiums on March 29 and 30, even on weekends, using the government electronic payment service Mpay, as reported by the National Health Insurance Company.
Authorities remind citizens that March 31 is the final day to pay this contribution with discounts, depending on the individual's category. The amounts vary between 1,264 lei and 5,054 lei, compared to the full amount required by law.
Between January 1 and March 27, over 128,000 individuals have paid the fixed insurance premium.
After the deadline, unemployed individuals who fail to insure themselves individually will be required to pay the full premium of 12,636 lei, plus a 0.1% penalty for each day of delay.
