27 agriculture businesses benefited from financial support through the "Agricultural Credit Facility" Program
27 agriculture businesses have benefitted from financial support thanks to the "Agricultural Credit Facility" Program. The total value of the approved financing is 22.7 million lei, of which 2.79 million lei represents the non-refundable, interest-free grant component.
Of the total number of beneficiaries, 22 accessed loans to purchase equipment for conventional agriculture. Two businesses invested in machinery for conservative agriculture, and three others purchased equipment for post-harvest processing.
We remind you that the program, implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Ministry of Finance and the External Assistance Program Management Office (OGPAE), offers loans with a fixed interest rate of 5.1% per annum and grant components of up to 30% of the financing value, flexible repayment terms of up to 5 years and the possibility of accessing financial guarantees through the ODA guarantee fund.
Beneficiaries can use these funds to purchase agricultural equipment, invest in post-harvest processing and other operational needs.
