Factory in Balti produces clothes for an Italian brand. The success story of the enterprise

More than 200 employees at a factory in Balti produce exceptional clothing items that are sold by a well-known brand in Italy. The factory manufactures over 400 pieces of clothing each day. Modern equipment, acquired through government programs, enhances their work efficiency and ensures high-quality products.

The company has automatic robots, quilting machines, recently purchased also based on a grant that simplify the work process for the staff.

Before they can be sold in the European Union, the garments go through a meticulous process that requires a lot of work.
“Each line sews a specific product, from here on out, all the details that are being prepared are launched. We prepare the product, then we go and fill them with natural down. Each seamstress has her specific process. The finished product reaches the controller here. So, it ends up being a complex product,” says production manager Lilia Remarciuc.

The new equipment, purchased through preferential loans, helps them a lot in their daily work, say the employees.
“They have made our work a lot easier because they are automatic machines. They have improved our work by making it easier and more qualitative,” says seamstress Adriana Juncu.

"We have been operating on the market in the Republic of Moldova for 17 years. Currently, we have 210 employees. We provide sewing services for an external partner from Italy," says manager Alina Ghileţchi.

We remind you that the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) offers, with the EU support, grants and loans on favorable terms. Thus, through the 373 program, managed by ODA, the garment factory from Balti accessed a loan worth 815 thousand lei for the purchase of modern sewing machines.
