Thirteen high-level advisors from the EU, along with international and local experts, will provide long-term consultancy to key public administrations in the Republic of Moldova over a three-year period. The beneficiaries of this technical assistance include the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Anti-Corruption Centre. This project, which is funded by the EU, aims to enhance the administrative and institutional capacity necessary to achieve the priorities outlined in the Growth Plan of the Republic of Moldova.

The project beneficiaries claim that the European Union's experience will contribute to the faster implementation of reforms.

"We have chapter 27, which is very complex and vast. For example, waste management, air quality, water quality, biodiversity, and climate change, and these experts come and show us how other countries have gone through this transposition process, they teach us not to make certain mistakes that they have made", says the Minister of the Environment, Sergiu Lazarencu.

"It's not just expertise, but also expertise on EU legislation. There are 160 thousand pages of legislation. It's an enormous thing. These institutions were selected in the dialogue with the Government of the Republic of Moldova, which indicated areas in which it wants support", explains the Ambassador of the EU to Chisinau, Janis Mazeiks.
