Defense Minister and Ukrainian Ambassador discuss regional security issues in Chisinau
Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi had a meeting on Tuesday with the Ukrainian ambassador to Chisinau, Paun Rohovei, during which they reviewed bilateral cooperation in several areas, including defense.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, the parties also addressed topics regarding the current regional security context and the progress made by the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the European integration process.
The dialogue also included issues related to strengthening the resilience of society in the face of disinformation and propaganda and increasing the level of cybersecurity.
In this context, Ambassador Paun Rohovei expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Republic of Moldova to refugees from Ukraine since the beginning of the unjustified war and he reiterated the friendly relations between the two states.
