Parliamentary elections could be held on September 28. A draft resolution to this effect was registered in Parliament today by the deputies of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), announces the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, on his Facebook page.
"Dear citizens, this fall we face pivotal elections that will shape the future of our country. Although you may have heard this before, these elections are truly critical. We have a choice: we can either abandon everything we have achieved on our European journey and block any opportunity to join the European Union, or we can continue moving forward on the path of development and peace. Our goal in these elections is to ensure that we do not turn back from this path, that our country does not fall under the influence of orders from the Kremlin, and that we preserve our sovereignty and freedom." - Igor Grosu, on his Facebook page.
