Serious accident in Florești district leaves one dead and four injured
A 59-year-old man died and four other people were injured in a serious road accident that occurred on the morning of April 17, on the G-55 road, between the villages of Cenușa and Vărvăreuca in Florești district.
According to the General Inspectorate of Police, a tragic accident occurred when a 61-year-old driver, who was traveling on a secondary road, failed to yield to another vehicle that was legally traveling on the main road. As a result of the collision, a 59-year-old passenger in the main road vehicle died at the scene.
Four other individuals sustained serious injuries: the 58-year-old driver of the impacted vehicle, a 38-year-old passenger, his 8-year-old child, and the driver responsible for the accident. All of them were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Law enforcement officers continue their investigation at the scene to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
