The government in Kyiv dismissed the leadership of the Customs Service of Ukraine
The Government of Ukraine dismisses the leadership of the State Customs Service. Thus, the interim head of the customs service, Viaceslav Demcenko, and his deputies were dismissed, the RBC Ukraine portal writes, citing a statement by Ukrainian deputy Oleksiy Goncearenko on Telegram.
According to the deputy, the political decision to dismiss the customs management was taken at the beginning of this week. Today, the Executive is expected to formally approve these dismissals in an extraordinary meeting.
We remind you that on January 24, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed five regional governors and four deputy ministers, following a corruption scandal in army supplies. It is the first scandal and the first reshuffle of this kind since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
