Government approves quality standards for the operation of nurseries
The executive has approved minimum quality standards for the proper functioning of day care centers for children from four months to three years, intended for families experiencing difficulties, in order to prevent situations of abandonment.
According to the authorities, in recent years, with the help of foreign financiers, five such day care centers were opened - in Chisinau, Bălți, Glodeni, Criuleni and Călăraşi, which benefited about 500 children. These institutions provide services for a specified period of time, including for mothers who need educational training or counseling.
