Risk of frost across the country: Temperatures drop below zero degrees

The State Hydrometeorological Service issued a Yellow Code of Frost. The warning is valid for the period April 27–29 and covers the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova.

According to meteorologists, during the nights and mornings of these days, frosts will be recorded on the ground surface over large areas.

Temperatures will drop to -1…-3°C.

According to meteorologists, the low temperatures are due to a cold air wave, which will cross the territory of the Republic of Moldova for several days. Farmers say that during this period, the most affected will be the apple orchards, which are in bloom.
