"Today in the meeting we have both a physical and an online format, but the necessary quorum is not met to declare this deliberative meeting. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is not possible to hold a meeting. We announce the next meeting for Thursday, February 9. We keep today's agenda", mentioned Angela Motuzoc, CSP president.

We remind you that yesterday, all five members of the Commission for selecting the candidate for the position of chief prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases announced their withdrawal.

On Tuesday, the CSP rejected the request of the Minister of Justice, Sergiu Litvinenco, to cancel the competition for the position of chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases.

Last week, Iulian Groza, one of the members of the Commission for preselection of candidates for the position of chief prosecutor at PCCOCS complained of pressure and attempts at intimidation and requested the annulment of the results of the first stage of the competition.

Yesterday, the second test was to take place, that of the interview for the position of head of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases.
