The President of the European Commission is paying a working visit to Kyiv
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and some of the members of the European executive arrived in Kyiv today.
In a message posted on Twitter, the European official noted that this visit prooves that the EU supports Ukraine as firmly as ever. The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, will arrive in Kyiv on Friday to take part in the EU-Ukraine summit, informs EFE. We remind you that tomorrow, February 3, the Ukraine-EU Summit will take place in Kyiv. European leaders are to discuss the EU's support for the authorities in Kyiv to fight aggression from the Russian Federation. European Union leaders are also expected to assess Ukraine's progress towards joining the bloc. We remind you that in June 2022, Ukraine received the status of a candidate country for the European Union.
