Parliament Speaker announced the priorities for the new parliamentary session
Creating optimal conditions for the development of businesses in the Republic of Moldova, the development of villages and cities, strengthening the educational system, are some of the priorities of the deputies for 2023, said the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu.
The official mentioned that an essential objective is also the development of green energy generation projects, as the authorities propose that in the coming years, 30 percent of the energy consumed will be produced from their own renewable sources.
"With a war on the border that has been going on for almost a year, keeping the peace and keeping citizens safe remains one of our top priorities. We intend to approve several initiatives to support and to develop the business environment. In the last year, our country has taken important steps to reduce energy dependence. After 30 years, we are no longer dependent on Russian gas. We have our own reserves, now we need to launch and support as many green energy generation projects as possible, more solar panels, more wind turbines", said Igor Grosu.
We remind you that today the deputies met in the first spring session of 2023. The agenda of the session includes several topics, including the extension of the state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for another 60 days.
