Aid for World War II veterans was transferred

Veterans of the Second World War can now access their one-off benefits in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. According to the National Social Insurance House, the funds have been credited to the veterans' social cards. Those without a social card can collect their money at any post office across the country.
We remind you that World War II veterans will receive a total aid of 30,000 lei in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. This amount includes a standard payment of 10,000 lei as mandated by legislation and a one-off additional aid of 20,000 lei.
The authorities stated that this financial support serves as a symbolic gesture of respect and gratitude towards the World War II veterans, acknowledging their bravery and the significant role they played in defending universal human values.
Currently, there are only 24 World War II veterans remaining in the Republic of Moldova.
