Post-investment grants available for modern farm equipment

Over 300,000 US dollars will be distributed to 33 farmers in the Republic of Moldova who are investing in modern equipment and sustainable soil protection practices. This financial support is part of the Post-Investment Grants Program for Sustainable Land Management (MAC-P), which is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry through the Agricultural Intervention and Payments Agency (AIPA).

The grants will partially cover the costs of high-performance equipment and ecological solutions, such as modern seeders, irrigation systems or the construction of water accumulation basins.

The beneficiary farmers come from several regions of the country. Most are from the districts of Anenii Noi -4, Rîșcani - 3, and two applicants each are from Drochia, Rezina, Dondușeni, Hîncești, Dubăsari, Ialoveni, Cantemir and Florești. In another 10 districts, one project was approved.

First electoral bloc requested registration for the September 28 parliamentary elections

The "Alternativa" Electoral Bloc, which includes the National Alternative Movement (MAN), the Party for the Development and Consolidation of Moldova (PDCM), the Civic Congress, and former presidential candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo, has submitted documents to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) for registration in the upcoming autumn elections. Representatives of the bloc were eager to be the first to register, arriving early in the morning on June 20, the first day of the application period for electoral blocs seeking registration to designate candidates for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
