Nicu Popescu comes with details on the European Political Community Summit which is to take place in Chisinau
The European Political Community (EPC) Summit in Chisinau in June will be attended by 47 leaders. The authorities have also decided on the venue of this event of European importance, but will not yet announce it, Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu told a TVR Moldova broadcast.
Most of the leaders invited to the political event in Chisinau will be present at the meeting in Moldova.
The European Political Community Summit in Chisinau was proposed by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during the meeting in Prague in October 2022.
The Summit of the European Political Community is scheduled to take place on 1 June in Chisinau. A formal invitation was signed by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and was addressed to the Heads of State and Government of the participating countries.
