Britain says it won't rule out sending Ukraine fighter jets too

Britain does not rule out sending Ukraine fighter jets. A statement to that effect was made by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. However, the official argues that preparation to fly them could take months, if not years, Ukrainskaia Pravda Ukrainskaia Pravda. reports.

"We are always in dialogue with Ukrainian friends on how to properly support Ukraine. The question is what kind of support can we offer that we think will make the biggest difference? That's why the decision I made as prime minister was to be one of the first countries in the world to offer Ukraine heavy tanks. Then other countries followed us," said the UK Prime Minister.

Fighter jets, he said, are "incredibly complex pieces of equipment that take months, if not years, to train people to fly".

"Our desire and objective is for Ukraine to win this war. So it's not just the equipment, it's the capabilities and the training that comes along with that, along with a plan with our allies that will ensure victory," he added.

Recall that the UK has announced it will send Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. At the end of January this year, Ukrainian tankers arrived in the UK to start training with the new tanks.
