Traffic at Leova customs temporarily suspended due to rising levels of the Prut
The Customs Service announced that the passage through the Leova customs post will be temporarily suspended this evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This measure is necessary due to the rising water levels of the Prut River and maintenance work on the pontoon bridge.
The authorities confirmed that the station will resume normal operations tomorrow, May 31, from 08:00 to 20:00.
To prevent delays, travelers engaged in cross-border traffic are advised to use nearby crossing points: Cahul–Oancea, Leușeni–Albița, Sculeni–Sculeni, or Giurgiulesti–Galați.
