Baccalaureate exam 2025: Results and key dates

Today, June 10, thousands of high school graduates across the country are taking their foreign language exam as part of the National Baccalaureate.
In total, over 16,500 candidates are registered for this crucial exam.
The majority of candidates – over 13,000 – are taking the English language exam, while more than 2,000 are taking French. The exam is also offered in German, Italian, Turkish, and Spanish.
For some students, today will be less stressful: over 3,000 candidates have already been awarded a perfect score of 10 automatically, based on their international language proficiency certificates.
Baccalaureate exams continue until June 20
The 2025 National Baccalaureate Exam is being held from June 3 to June 20 across 91 centers nationwide, with 30 of these located in Chișinău. In total, over 18,500 candidates are participating, including approximately 2,000 retake candidates from previous sessions.
Exams commence at 9:00 AM. This Friday, June 13, students will sit for their specialized subject exam – typically mathematics for science-oriented profiles and history for humanities profiles. Next week, on June 17, the elective subject exam will follow, with options such as geography, biology, computer science, or physics.
The session will conclude on June 20 with the mother tongue exam, taken by 468 candidates across 12 baccalaureate centers.
Exam papers are being evaluated at four national centers in Chișinău. Preliminary results will be posted on June 25 directly at the baccalaureate centers. Students will have the opportunity to submit appeals, and the final results will be published subsequently.
